ABBUC vyhl\u00e1sil nov\u00e9 kolo software contestu a samozrejme, \u017ee som nev\u00e1hal a v\u0161etk\u00fdmi 11-timi som sa pustil do sma\u017eenia k\u00f3du novej gamesky.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nNo, nebolo to \u00faplne takto ale nevad\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Moja nov\u00e1 gamesa m\u00e1 super origin\u00e1lny n\u00e1zov Roxblox, ide o logiku, kde je potrebn\u00e9 pos\u00favan\u00edm kociek v st\u013apcoch a riadkoch z\u00edska\u0165 rozlo\u017eenie pod\u013ea predlohy. Znie to celkom easy ale je to fu\u0161ka, hlavne ke\u010f to hr\u00e1te poprv\u00fd kr\u00e1t. Hra je rozdelen\u00e1 na stages po 8 levelov a pod\u013ea toho ako dobre uhr\u00e1te stage z\u00edskate rank. Najep\u0161\u00ed rank je &#8220;A&#8221;, t.j. hviezda, ke\u010f ich z\u00edskate v ka\u017edom stage-i tak vyhr\u00e1te hru ;).<\/p>\n<p>Pravidl\u00e1 s\u00fa pop\u00edsan\u00e9 v tex\u0165\u00e1ku, ktor\u00fd potom ako bude hra vydan\u00e1 ABBUCom prihod\u00edm k jej blogpostu tutok u m\u0148a na fancy atari blogu.<\/p>\n<p>Teraz tro\u0161ku k technickej str\u00e1nke veci.<br \/>\nIde o hru, ktor\u00fa som p\u00f4vodne pl\u00e1noval naprogramova\u0165 za v\u00edkend, mo\u017eno 2&#8230; av\u0161ak na moje nemil\u00e9 prekvapenie sa to pretiahlo skoro na rok.<\/p>\n<p>Nejde o \u017eiadnu mega-pecku, aj ke\u010f som sa teda sna\u017eil zo seba vyl\u00fadi\u0165 nejak\u00fa okulahoiacu grafiku. \u010co teda bolo d\u00f4vodom tak dlh\u00e9ho v\u00fdvoja???<\/p>\n<p>No, s\u010dasti ur\u010dite aj moja nie pr\u00edli\u0161 ve\u013ek\u00e1 odhodlanos\u0165 tomuto projektu. Predsalen v pr\u00e1ci \u010dum\u00edm do kompu cel\u00fd de\u0148, mozog nam\u00e1ham, ned\u00e1 sa to &#8220;len tak&#8221; praktizova\u0165, s\u00fastredenie mi uch\u00e1dza niekam inam. Ide\u00e1lne sa potom vyventilujem pri Quake3 Arena online s expertmi tu z okolit\u00fdch prilahl\u00fdch kraj\u00edn eur\u00f3py.<br \/>\nTak \u010di onak, ako sa bl\u00ed\u017eil deadline ABBUC compa, nejako som sa dok\u00e1zal namotivova\u0165 a hru dokon\u010di\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e1to hra je ale \u0161pecifik\u00e1 t\u00fdm, \u017ee je p\u00edsan\u00e1 v C a kompilovan\u00e1 CC65-kou, \u00fa\u017easn\u00fdm C\u010dkov\u00fdm kompil\u00e1torom, ktor\u00fd v\u00e1s don\u00fati si trha\u0165 vlasy, sk\u00e1ka\u0165 po hlave a vydesene beha\u0165 s krikom po miestnosti.<\/p>\n<p>\u00daprimne, je to \u010dist\u00e9 peklo.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e1to hra mala by\u0165 proof, \u017ee sa d\u00e1 CC65 re\u00e1lne pou\u017ei\u0165 na nak\u00f3denie jednoduchej gamesy. Probl\u00e9m mi ale nastal hne\u010f po chv\u00edli, ke\u010f som potreboval plynule h\u00fdba\u0165 kockami, vtedy bolo vykreslovanie tak pekelne pomal\u00e9, \u017ee som proste musel za\u010da\u0165 p\u00edsa\u0165 rutiny v ASM. Nehovor\u00edm e\u0161te o tom, \u017ee niekedy sa skompilovan\u00fd k\u00f3d spr\u00e1val takpovediac divotvorne, musel som predsa kombinova\u0165 C\u010dko a asm\u00e1\u010d. Nakoniec, \u010do sa t\u00fdka d\u013a\u017eky k\u00f3du je to asi 1:1 ASM:C.<\/p>\n<p>Najhor\u0161ie na tom celom je ladenie, ke\u010f\u017ee prakticky niet \u0161ance ladi\u0165 asm\u00e1\u010d, ktor\u00fd vylezie z CC65, lebo takto p\u00ed\u0161e k\u00f3d iba diabol z vn\u00fatorn\u00fdch kruhov pekeln\u00fdch. Jedinou mo\u017enos\u0165ou bolo pokus\/omyl a verte mi, po\u010det t\u00fdch pokusov sa limitne bl\u00ed\u017ei k nekone\u010dnu.<\/p>\n<p>Suma sum\u00e1rum: nikdy CC65 nepou\u017e\u00edva\u0165! P\u00edsa\u0165 \u010disto v ASM je omnoho jedoduch\u0161ie a preh\u013eadnej\u0161ie.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fdmto chcem vzda\u0165 hold autorovi hry His Dark Majesty, ktor\u00e1 je fenomen\u00e1lna a z\u00e1rove\u0148 p\u00edsan\u00e1 v CC65: \u010clove\u010de, fakt nech\u00e1pem.<\/p>\n<p>Ono ke\u010f u\u017e som sa tej CC65 venoval, chcel som v tom spravi\u0165 aj nie\u010do viac ako nejak\u00fd tr\u00e1pny test\u00edk, no v niektor\u00fdch f\u00e1zach som mal chu\u0165 za\u010da\u0165 p\u00edsa\u0165 hru v ASM a u\u0161etri\u0165 kopec probl\u00e9mov.<\/p>\n<p>Posledn\u00e9 2 dni som u\u017e v podstate iba doklep\u00e1val nejak\u00e9 detail\u00edky, dop\u013a\u0148al posledn\u00e9 levely a dnes som takmer pri\u0161iel o svoje ment\u00e1lne zdravie.<br \/>\nUspokojil som sa s t\u00fdm, \u017ee hra mi veselo \u0161lape na Atari800Win Plus a tak som sa rozhodol v r\u00e1mci vo\u013en\u00e9ho \u010dasu vytiahnu\u0165 pekeln\u00fd stroj zo skrine a otestova\u0165 hru na re\u00e1lnom Atari.<\/p>\n<p>Dotiahol som do izby star\u00fa telku, pripojil komp, nain\u0161taloval APE for windows (trial) a pripojil SIO2PC k\u00e1bel. Na moje po\u010dudovanie mi trvalo asi 5 min\u00fa\u0165 a At\u00e1rko veselo bootilo z APE. Samozrejme som sa pote\u0161il, \u017ee aj po rokoch (asi 2 roky som to nevytiahol zo skrine) e\u0161te viem ako to m\u00e1 fi\u010da\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>Hru k\u00f3dim na svojom netbooku a velk\u00fd komp (ktor\u00fd m\u00e1 RS232) pou\u017e\u00edvam ako Subversion (SVN) server, FTP server a teraz aj ako virtu\u00e1lnu Atari disketovku.<\/p>\n<p>Upol som teda na FTPko roxblox.xex a naloadoval do Atari. Loaduje mi to akosi dlho, ale tak za 10 sek\u00fand vid\u00edm na obrazovke moje cten\u00e9 meno za b\u00fa\u0161enia bombastickej 4-kan\u00e1lovej RMT\u010dkovej muziky. N\u00e1sledne sa vyfejduje jednoduch\u00e9 logo a ja netrpezlovo s o\u010dami na stopk\u00e1ch \u010dak\u00e1m ako bude vyzera\u0165 hern\u00e1 obrazovka.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e1sk!<\/p>\n<p>DLI\u010dka s\u00fa po\u0161ahan\u00e9. To sn\u00e1\u010f nie, ve\u010f v emul\u00e1tore to bolo OK. Medzi\u010dasom som sa po pokeci s PG a MaPa-om (haha, neviem ako to m\u00e1m sklo\u0148ova\u0165) rozhodol na otestovan\u00ed cez emul\u00e1tor Altirra. In\u00e1\u010d t\u00edto dvaja chalani pripravili ve\u013emi s\u013eubn\u00fd pr\u00edspevok a dnes som si u nich viackr\u00e1t ventiloval svoje em\u00f3cie pri odla\u010fovan\u00ed na real HW.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, tak\u017ee sp\u00e4\u0165 k mojej hre. \u0160tartol som ju v Altirre a vid\u00edm, \u017ee je tam podobn\u00fd bug DLI niekde medzi ingame logom a hern\u00fdm po\u013eom. Nu\u017e je to zverina, lebo pr\u00e1ve tam sa switchuje z norm\u00e1lneho hracieho po\u013ea na wide, tak\u017ee v r\u00e1mci jedn\u00e9ho scanline tam stihnem akur\u00e1t tak prd. Ja som si veselo menil farbi\u010dky akoby sa nechumelilo, ale cel\u00e9 sa to nest\u00edhalo vykona\u0165 a grafika sa tam l\u00e1mala. Samozrejme, \u017ee v\u0161etko sa d\u00e1 spravi\u0165 a postupne som to vyladil tak, \u017ee som si pripravil hodnoty do registra X a aj do akumul\u00e1tora a v tom osudom poslednom scanline textov\u00e9ho riadku som zavolal STA,STX a zrazu to sadlo.<\/p>\n<p>Neuverite\u013en\u00e9, r\u00fdchlo uploadujem bin\u00e1r na FTP, re\u0161tartujem atari, bootujem, loadujem a drb! Furt je to blb\u00e9 a pritom Altirra aj A800win nemali probl\u00e9m. Tak som teda e\u0161te predpripravil hodnotu aj do Y registra a v tom scanline som zavolal len 3 z\u00e1pisy STA,STX,STY. Emul\u00e1tory sa zatv\u00e1rili \u017ee pohoda, loadnem to do Atari a \u010duduj sa svete, fi\u010d\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00e1rove\u0148 som mal e\u0161te chybu aj v dolnej \u010dasti obrazovky kde je stage selector, sa tam zase blblo DLI\u010dko. Najprv som sa s t\u00fdm hral, \u017ee som robil 1 zmenu po druhej, ale asi po polo\u010fke som sa nasral a cel\u00e9 som to tam reorganizoval a porozde\u013eoval tak, aby som nemal viac ako 2 zmeny na scanline (2xLDA #$XX, 2xSTA $XXXX) a na prv\u00fd pokus to v emul\u00e1tore fr\u010dalo. Ono je to v\u017edy celkom lot\u00e9ria, ke\u010f nejak\u00fd k\u00f3d komplet poprehadzujem a reorganizujem, no tentokr\u00e1t to vyzeralo akob bez zmeny. Upnem teda na FTP, re\u0161tartujem Atari, bootujem, loadujem, zobraz\u00ed sa hern\u00fd screen, kr\u00e1sa, bez chyby.<\/p>\n<p>Srdce mi posko\u010dilo od radosti, tak som do k\u00f3du vlo\u017eil jeden JMP nech sa mi zobraz\u00ed congratulations screen. Na emul\u00e1toroch samozrejme v\u0161etko be\u017e\u00ed veselo plynule, no na real HW mi to crashuje.<br \/>\nZdesenie, hr\u00f4za, bezn\u00e1dej.<\/p>\n<p>\u010co teraz?<\/p>\n<p>Ako to m\u00e1m debugn\u00fa\u0165, ke\u010f to neviem ani v emul\u00e1tore nasimulova\u0165?<\/p>\n<p>Sk\u00fa\u0161al som sn\u00e1\u010f v\u0161etko, vypn\u00fa\u0165 hudbu, zru\u0161i\u0165 preru\u0161enia, pres\u00fava\u0165 k\u00f3d v pam\u00e4ti. St\u00e1le to padalo. Potom som prist\u00fapil k tot\u00e1lnemu brute-force rie\u0161eniu, \u017ee som vkladal do k\u00f3du JMP * a h\u013eadal ten &#8220;pekeln\u00fd&#8221; riadok k\u00f3du, ktor\u00fd sp\u00f4soboval p\u00e1d syst\u00e9mu. Urobil som asi 50 pokusov, 50 uploadov na FTP, 50 re\u0161tartov Atari a 50 nekone\u010dne dlh\u00fdch loadingov aby som znovu a znovu videl ako to cel\u00e9 crashuje.<\/p>\n<p>Stra\u0161n\u00e1 zapeklitos\u0165, ktor\u00e1 vznikala niekde v rutine, ktor\u00e1 m\u00e1 za \u00falohu generova\u0165 DL pre fin\u00e1lny picture. V k\u00f3de ni\u010d hrozn\u00e9 nebolo, nikde som nevedel n\u00e1js\u0165 ni\u010d, \u010do by mi mohlo beh ovplyvni\u0165, \u010di u\u017e nejak\u00e9 preru\u0161enie alebo \u010do&#8230; proste ni\u010d. Zdoch\u00fdnalo mi to na makroin\u0161trukcii INW $XX, ktor\u00e1 mi mala zv\u00fd\u0161i\u0165 pointer pre ukladanie cez nepriame indexovan\u00e9 adresovanie. (sn\u00e1\u010f som to nap\u00edsal dobre). Sk\u00fasil som to teda spravi\u0165 tak, \u017ee som nahradil t\u00fato maktoin\u0161trukciou mal\u00fdm snippetom, ktor\u00fd adresu zvy\u0161oval in\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobom a aj tak to st\u00e1le padalo.<\/p>\n<p>Nasral som sa a po asi 4 hodin\u00e1ch str\u00e1ven\u00fdch nad touto chybou som vyNOPoval in\u0161trukciu kde to padalo a h\u00e1dajte \u010do sa stalo?<br \/>\nPadlo to aj na NOPe.<\/p>\n<p>OMG! WTF?<\/p>\n<p>Tak toto u\u017e je nejak\u00e1 karma alebo \u010do&#8230; za\u010dal som prem\u00fd\u0161la\u0165, \u010di som ned\u00e1vno nepustil nejak\u00e9ho d\u00f4chodcu v mestkej hormadnej doprave sadn\u00fa\u0165 a \u017ee teraz pre\u017e\u00edvam odplatu nejakej vy\u0161\u0161ej moci alebo \u010do.<\/p>\n<p>Konec, som v koncoch, netu\u0161\u00edm, \u010do sa tam deje neviem ako na to pr\u00eds\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>V ag\u00f3nii z\u00fafalstva som spotil mail pre Fandal-a, ultim\u00e1tneho k\u00f3dera\/crackera\/hackera\/[dopl\u0148 \u010do ta napadne] s prosbou o pomoc pri rie\u0161en\u00ed tohto mimoriadneho probl\u00e9mu. Potom som e\u0161te urobil zop\u00e1r such\u00fdch pokusov a vzdal som to s t\u00fdm, \u017ee h\u00e1dam Fandal na to kukne jedn\u00fdm o\u010dkom a do pol min\u00faty mi nap\u00ed\u0161e rie\u0161enie (ako je to jeho zvykom, za \u010do mu naozaj \u010fakujem). Dal som si teda pauzu ale na ho\u010fku, st\u00e1le \u017eiadna odpove\u010f, neva e\u0161te to sk\u00fasim.<\/p>\n<p>Odp\u00e1lil som teda takmer cel\u00fa hru a nechal u\u017e len ten DL gener\u00e1tor a st\u00e1le som nevedel \u010do s t\u00fdm sakra je. Potom som sa rozhodol, \u017ee ten DL vygenerujem \u00faplne naza\u010diatku po naloadovan\u00ed v\u0161etk\u00fdch \u010dast\u00ed hry dakam pod DOS, ke\u010f\u017ee ho u\u017e nebude treba. Spravil som to teda tak, \u017ee hne\u010f po naloadovan\u00ed posledn\u00e9ho d\u00e1tov\u00e9ho bloku sa mi na\u0161tartoval DL gener\u00e1tor a n\u00e1sledne sa od\u0161tartovala hra.<\/p>\n<p>Upol som to teda na FTPko, resetol Atari, bootol APE, loadol bin\u00e1rku a zrazu b\u00e1c! Hr\u00e1 hudba, vid\u00edm moju menovku, logo, hern\u00fd screen. Super, tak\u017ee DL je vygenerovan\u00fd a hra ide, teraz u\u017e len sk\u00fasi\u0165 to DL aj pou\u017ei\u0165. Na\u0161tartoval som teda zobrazenie congratulations obrazovky a &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>FI\u010c\u00cd\u00cd\u00cd\u00cd !!! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p>Neni mo\u017en\u00e9. Trochu som to teda e\u0161te uhladil, opravil nejake drobn\u00e9 probl\u00e9miky, \u010do sa vyskytli bokom a doplnil loading screen.<\/p>\n<p>Hru som otestoval a vlastnoru\u010dne pre\u0161iel asi za 7 min\u00fat (nech ne\u017eerem, 10), ka\u017edop\u00e1dne, to\u013ekokr\u00e1t som to debugoval a hral, \u017ee u\u017e pozn\u00e1m v\u0161etky levely naspam\u00e4\u0165 a prech\u00e1dzam ich bez toho aby som sa nad t\u00fdm zam\u00fd\u0161\u013eal :).<\/p>\n<p>Vedzte, \u017ee v\u00f4bec netu\u0161\u00edm, \u010do sp\u00f4sobovalo t\u00fa pekeln\u00fa chybu gener\u00e1tora DL, no nejako sa mi to podarilo ob\u00eds\u0165 a u\u017e je to minulos\u0165ou.<\/p>\n<p>Hra je teda poslan\u00e1 a som zvedav\u00fd ako dopadne na tohtoro\u010dnej s\u00fa\u0165a\u017ei ABBUC Software contest 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Tu na <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atariage.com\/forums\/topic\/187405-roxblox\/\" title=\"AtariAge\">AtariAge<\/a> si m\u00f4\u017eete pozrie\u0165 video z hry, hral som to velmi zle, nebudem predsa ukazova\u0165 ako to prejs\u0165 ;).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c1no priatelia, je to tu zas.
