WitShift

WitShift: /noun/
A sudden mental maneuver used to outwit danger through clever manipulation of space and time.

In the aftermath of a failed weapons experiment, dozens of unstable bombs-each rigged with experimental dynamite cores-were scattered across containment grids throughout deep space. Their timers are active. Their fuses ticking.

With no way to defuse them safely, the only viable protocol is to shift them out of reality itself—sliding each bomb into a temporary wormhole vortex before it detonates.

You are an operator of the WitShift Protocol, a covert bomb disposal initiative where cleverness is your only tool, and each grid is a deadly puzzle. Time is limited. Paths are blocked. Only wit will shift the outcome.

The game can be controlled using a joystick or keyboard with arrow keys or WASD.

Each level has a unique code, allowing players to resume their next session from the level they reached previously. With 70 levels to conquer, starting with easier ones, players should not expect to complete all of them in a single session.

You can toggle in-game music by pressing the OPTION key.
Pressing the START, SELECT, and OPTION keys simultaneously in-game returns to the title screen.

The game uses interlacing by default, but you can disable it in the main menu based on your display device preference.

The game supports stereo music (if available) and is PAL/NTSC compatible, ensuring consistent game speed with adjusted colors for each format.

Gameplay Hint: Most levels, including advanced ones, can be solved in fewer than 100 moves. If you’ve exceeded 250 moves with the end nowhere in sight, take a deep breath, step back, and rethink your strategy – consider exploring a different path to the vortex.
